Hey! A bit about Dog Training
I struggled so hard with my girls when they were growing up. We had no idea what we were in for with a puppy, and we brought home two at one time.
What have we learned?
Patience is the key
Love is the way
The girls were being puppies and we didn’t have a clue on most things until I went on to go to school and become a Nationally Certified Dog Trainer with the help and encouragement from a good friend who told me about getting into Animal Behavior College.
The thing is, we didn’t know anything about giving them their own cage with their own space, instead we put them inside a big crate together. We fed them with their bowls side by side, let them play too rough in the yard because we didn’t think about manners and appropriate play.
As a result, they developed some bad behaviors. Mostly fighting with each other and that prompted us to reach out to a wonderful dog trainer and mentor to many. He worked with us and showed us the way and I learned so much about myself and my dogs in the process.
I learned that because I didn’t know all these little things, their behavior was out of control and it was our fault.
As soon as we learned how to correct the behavior, we started the process and never looked back. Today my girls can play in moderation or separately, lay on couches in the living room, sleep side by side, go for car rides and train next to each other with lots of yummy low calorie treats of course.
What’s the secret?
Call me for a 3 hour private seminar, we will cover everything you need to know and talk about what you would like to do in the future.
I will travel and we can schedule virtual calls to plan for our in person meeting beforehand.
My mission is to help keep dogs in homes and out of the shelter. If I can show you what you need to know to have balance in your home and a bond with your dog, then my job here is done.
